Academic Programme
The school prepares students from Year 9 to Year 13, (aged 12 to 18), for the New Zealand national qualifications (NCEA) at levels 1,2 and 3. IELTS and TOEFL are available.
Extra Curricular Programme
Heretaunga College students are involved in horse riding, golf, soccer, rugby, netball, basketball, badminton, volleyball, hockey, skiing, mountain biking, athletics, cricket, tennis, dragon boating, martial arts, drama, music, debating, dance and much more.

Heretaunga College prides itself on maintaining a close relationship between school and home. We look after your child as if they were our child. Our international student programme is designed to ensure that students have a great time but always with an emphasis on being safe. The Principal, Dean of International Students, Homestay Co-ordinator and International Secretary, meet weekly and ensure that all students are having their needs met.
